Britain giving aids

Posted on 20:00 by tripal h

A big earthquake with the strength of 8.1 on the Richter scale has hit Pakistan.

Three million Pakistanis have died and over a million are injured.

The country is totally ruined and the government does not know where to start with providing help to rebuild. The rest of the world is in shock.

The United States is sending troops to help. Saudi Arabia is sending oil. Latin American countries are sending supplies. New Zealand is sending sheep, cattle and food crops. The rest of the European community except France is sending money.

The Asian countries are sending labor to assist in rebuilding infrastructure.

Australia is sending medical teams and supplies.

The Brits, not to be outdone, are sending three million replacement Pakistanis.

God Bless British generosity!!!

SCAM by KWSP

Posted on 21:00 by tripal h

Got a forwarded mail today regarding about SCAM by KWSP, not sure how true about it, but from my judgement, it doesn't seem false at all, as we live in a country called Malaysia "Boleh" where everything is possible!! Below are the content of the mail. Enjoy...

This is another method for KWSP to steal our money!

Remember during Budget 2008 announcement last year, our Finance Minister (cum PM) announced that in order to assist KWSP members to reduce the burden in housing loan repayment, KWSP will allow monthly withdrawal from members' A/C II for the purpose?

Sounds like a nice idea! (too good to be true)

When you apply for the monthly withdrawal, you only need to provide KWSP your housing loan & installment details from your bank and the bank a/c that you like KWSP to bank the monthly withdrawal into it. KWSP will approve your application based on the available amount in your A/C II and compute the withdrawal period by dividing the approved amount with the monthly installment amount. Application process takes about a month and you will receive the monthly payout promptly into your bank a/c! Well everything appears to be nice and good. It was indeed a noble plan until you take to close look at your KWSP Statement!

The withdrawal plan is actually a SCAM! This is how the KWSP SCAM works.......

Assuming you have RM100,000 in your A/C II and your housing loan monthly installment is RM2,000/mth. KWSP will approve your application of withdrawal from yr A/C II of RM100,000 and pay you RM2,000/mth for the next 50mths. Everything appears to be in order BUT.......

What KWSP didn't highlight to you is that when the application was approved, the TOTAL AMOUNT (RM100,000) is removed from your A/C II! It appears to be transferred to an UNKNOWN a/c to effect the monthly payment from there, NOT monthly repayment amount.

The impact to the member are as follows :-

  1. You just lost RM100,000 from yr A/C II. Assuming the KWSP Dividend is 5%, you will lose >RM4,000 in dividend during the 1st year. Based on the above example you will will lose >RM10,000 over the 50 mths period!

  2. There is no statement to account for the amount approved vs amount paid, hence you would need to keep the monthly payment vouchers to reconcile against the approved amount over the 50mths period to ensure there is no missing amount!

Assuming there are 100,000 members who innocently fell prey to this SCAM, based on the above example, KWSP would have cheated the members of 100,000 X RM10,000 = RM1,000,000,000 (that's RM1 BILLION) over the period!

Furthermore, if you discovered this SCAM early and intend to stop the plan, KWSP would not allow any cancellation of the plan until at least 1 year. That would mean, once the application is approved, based on the above example, you would have lost >RM4,000.

100,000 members would have lost 100,000 X RM4,000 = RM400,000,000 (RM400 MILLION) in One Year!!!

If you're a victim of this KWSP SCAM, I would suggest you call your MP to raise hell in Parliament!

For others who have not fallen into this SCAM, please continue to watch out and alert your family members & friends about this.

HOW COULD THE GOVERNMENT ALLOW ITS AGENCY TASKED WITH SAFEGUARIDNG ITS CITIZEN'S HARD EARNED MONEY TO CHEAT ITS MEMBERS IN THIS MANNER???

Pls spread this message around.

Best Regard,

Bangkok Dangerous (Cineleisure)

Posted on 07:36 by tripal h
Went for the movie after goin ZARA++ clothing & MPH warehouse sales in PJ area. Nth special on ZARA cloths as most of the available size was XL or XXL -_- beside that those cloths look like pasar malam goods. And for the MPH warehouse sales, better call it "Dictionaries & Novels Sales" more appropriate. But I do get some cheap Lonely Planet travel books (East Africa, Eastern Europe, Barcelona, New York, Asia Special) at only RM10!!!!

The cinema was not full when we bough the tickets, lots of space left. Even when the movie start, still lots of empty space,?? Not even 1/2 of the cinema was filled, surprisingly for a new movie o.O

Storyline was a bit dull & very unlogic on most of the parts. A professional assassin wont make the mistake as fall in love with someone, the love scene was really a waste of time. Beside that how would you trust someone by lookin in their eye -_- assassin never trust anybody & they wont stay at the same place where ppl can track it.

Since he is a pro assassin, some job took him so long/hard to finish it and doesn't look pro? When he done the killin part, he just stand there & wait?? Huh? Assume no one will every heard the shooting sound & no one would c him & he seem don't mind letting ppl saw his face. Beside that, his shootin skill was poor in some scene but in some other scene he was like god??

Don't expect much action in the movie, I almost fall asleep in the cinema.....

Jalan Alor to Jalan Kejora?

Posted on 02:12 by tripal h

Jalan AlorLocal papers published on 17/10/08 that Jalan Alor is now called ridiculous "Jalan Kejora" (Venus Street). From the paper it stated that the local municipal council (DBKL) changed it a few days ago (14/10/08). The reason given? So that all roads in Bukit Bintang would be named after the stars in the galaxy. Or something like that!? What a shitty reason/answer!!

Guess that's why they changed it silently few days ago, hoping that no one will ever notice it so it will be permanent as time goes by. Most of us don't know of the name change until today!

Why would someone wanted to change a well famous street name? It is already popularly known among the locals and tourists and it has already been established by itself in the world for yearss!! Its so well famous in the WORLD, not just your "kampung"!! Pls balik kampung taman sayur!!

There is no wonder at all, on how these idiotic people make action & decision before any proper calculations at all!! Coz these are the ppl who runs our country, dont they have any else thing to do? We do not pay our tax for "you" to do job as change name! No wonder we dun progress well.

But at least Jalan Alor has got his name back to where it belong.... Another Malaysia Boleh!!!

Too much melamine found in popular biscuits

Posted on 21:10 by tripal h

KUALA LUMPUR: Health Minister Datuk Liow Tiong Lai said 18 out of 47 Khong Guan and Khian Guan biscuit products have excessive levels of melamine.

The products have been ordered to be removed from the shelves immediately, he said.

A number of food products in Malaysia are being tested following the melamine-tainted China milk scare and those that have melamine levels above the permissible 2.5 parts per million have been ordered off the shelves.

Below are some of the products by Khong Guan, for more products please refer to the site http://www.khongguan.com.my/

Posted on 20:13 by tripal h

Max Payne (Pavilion)

Posted on 07:45 by tripal h
What a bored Sunday afternoon, my dad's car broke down & he used my car :( So I just go online and surprisingly Justin was at KL o.O so do Chong. After discussion in MSN we decided going off for a movie.

Not much movie to choose from, the movie is not that good as what I expected. It is base on a PC games long time ago (same time during Matrix movie) where the game was a hit during tat time due to the nice/reality 3D graphic and special slow motion effect. It's still one of my favorite game until now, although I've not touch it for quite some time, maybe I'll install & play it when I'm free later :)

I cant really recall the storyline of Max Payne in game but after watching it do refresh some of my memory. The story of a detective wife and baby got killed but the murder was unknown for years. The detective continue to search for the murder for years but with no luck at all, until now......

I think the director change the storyline, I cant really recall any on the angels stuff, the soldier, the female gangster? nor the drug, I only recall I've to kill a lots in the game :p Back to the movie, the slow effect was not that much in the movie (in game I use the slow effect almost 80% of the time), only twice if not mistaken & the angel look more like devil to me beside the effect near the ending was terrible.

It just the same title as the game & the storyline, dint really bring out the concept of the game. The only stuff that look 100% as the game was the shooting style, a bit dark (more like black & white movie + old movie film style) with lots of flash going. The mystery solving part was not that great too, plus ppl just die so easily but not Max? Better make Max dodge all bullets with special power (like Matrix or Wanted) rather than like nothing happen after got shoot.

Posted on 01:18 by tripal h

The House Bunny (MV)

Posted on 08:57 by tripal h

Watch the movie with friends after waiting in queue for about 45min on the Sushi King's Member promotion (RM2 per plate, rice based) Refer to my previous journal (17th April 2008)on Sushi King promotion

Ana Faris really suite the post on the act of a very dumb innocent blonde. Dint expect the movie much but it turn out quite good and funny of course. The whole movie is very hilarious especially with those Zeta's Girls, each of them has their own characteristic.

It show how someone can actually become beauty & famous after some workout on cloth, cosmetic and style, but it also will lead to cruelty & mean.

I like the scene where the police ask her to blow the balloon, but she though the police need a blow job. XD And the scene where she praise & give comment on the others where she cant differential a she-male (look so obvious) when she was jailed. The dating part was funny too with war topic & index card & also hilarious spec -_-

Beside of blonde joke, it has some not so touching scene too :p A good laughter movie especially after a tiring workday.

Eagle Eye (Cineleisure)

Posted on 02:22 by tripal h
Nth special about the storyline, a very familiar storyline as the movie of "Matrix" "Stealth" etc. where eelctronic stuff tat suppose to help us becoming over too powerful & taking control over.

The actor has a begger outlook and the actress was a bit too old, doesn't really match. After knowing it was the "Eagle Eye" who make all those call & stuff in the first 30min, I've lost the interest in the whole movie.

I wonder if "Eagle Eye" was implemented in Malaysia, I'm sure it is a failure project, forget about those common rasuah & $$ spend stuff, I wonder if are the equipment ("Eagle Eye" computer not those on the street or telephone line) working, maybe it will overheat, power shortage & mostly a flood due to leakage XD

Even if it really "workin" we wont have to worry about it on our privacy issue & the "Eagle Eye" over powerful as most of the electronic in Malaysia either not connected or malfunction at all.

Let say it was over powerful (impossible) & we tryin stop it & "Eagle Eye" tryin to backup itself as in the movie by uploading to satellite... hmm.. do we have a "workin" satellite? We can take our time to stop it, maybe 1mth later?? Since the data upload wont reach more than 10%, so y worry? XD Malaysia Boleh!!!

Real plane crash pictures.......

Posted on 20:24 by tripal h

Last month a B737 had a mid air collision with a Embraer Legacy while cruising at 35,000 feet over South America. The Embraer Legacy, though seriously damaged, with the winglet ripped off, managed to make a landing at a nearby airstrip in the midst of the Amazon jungle. The crew and passengers of the Embraer Legacy had no idea what they had hit. The B737, however, crashed killing all crew and passengers on board.

The two photos attached above were apparently taken by one of the passengers in the B737, after the collision and before the aircraft crashed.  The photos were retrieved from the camera's memory stick. You will never get to see photos like this. In the first photo there is a gaping hole in the fuselage through which you can see the tailplane and vertical fin of the aircraft. In the second photo one of the passengers is being sucked out of the gaping hole.

Photos taken inside the plane.

These photos were found in a digital Casio Z750, amidst the remains in Serra do Cachimbo. Although the camera was destroyed, the Memory Stick was recovered. Investigating the serial number of the camera the owner could be identified, as Paulo G. Muller, an actor of a theatre for children known in the outskirts of Porto  Alegre. It can be imagined that he was standing during the impact with the Embraer Legacy, and during the turbulence he managed to take these photos.

Seconds after the tail loss the aircraft plunged, so the camera was found near the cockpit. the structural stress probably ripped the engines away, diminishing the falling speed, protecting the ele ctronic equipment but not, unfortunate ly, the victims. Paulo Muller leaves behind two daughters, Bruna and Beatriz, from a previous relationship.

God Bless.
